Hello, this is your opportunity to enable my sloth.

I have decided that my recent laziness regarding all things life-in-general has progressed from “Wow, ummm, are you feeling ok? Because you sleep a lot and don’t do anything” to full on “You embody one of the seven deadly sins! Congratulations here are a cookie and a nice new down comforter, you clearly need them.”

So here is your chance to help me make it to the next level where I get a motorized bed so I won’t have to sit up while I drive. Sigh. It’s SUCH a struggle.

Anyhoo, if you know me, kinda know of me, wish you knew me, know someone like me, know someone who might be like me someday, know a person, I am asking you to PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ (zzz’s because us sloths sleep a lot) go read this, and especially read this.

There are things there that we (somehow I am suddenly entitled to speak for everyone who has ever lost a child, I’m too lazy to explain why. SLOTH, remember?) really, really, really need for you to know. And other people said it way better than me. I’d try to top them and say it in my own words but SLOTH; try to keep up with me here.

At nearly six months since Joel was born and died I know we are reaching a point where there may be some expectations. Do us all a favor and chuck them out the window, k? Because all I expect when I wake up is that I will want to go back to sleep. Other than that I have no idea what will happen from one minute to the next. I genuinely appreciate your willingness to do the same.

Did you go read yet? If you don’t I will call you SLOTH too and I bet you won’t like it as much as I do. So go read them, I don’t want any competition for that motorized bed.
