Weekender
I would have something witty or insightful to tell you today except I spent the weekend with my besties at the All American Quarter Horse Congress. It is the largest single breed horse show in the world.
It is also crack for horse people.
We storm
The girls and I tore the place up. My blood sugar will be elevated until Thanksgiving. When I will give it two shots of pie and a healthy infusion of ice cream.
I got a smokin’ deal on these bad boys.
And picked up some of these.
Still not in my pre-baby size…sigh. (no comments about fair food, it doesn’t have calories when it’s out of state, silly)
I would have liked to bring one of these home
(the horse, not the cowboy, very happy with the one I’ve got thankyouverymuch)

But I wanted to stay married so I settled for a few other odds and ends. And of course a stop at DQ on the way back.
Because the 23lb of grease we inhaled at Congress needed a topper. There are reasons why we call ourselves Team Fat Kid, folks. I submit the past weekend as exhibit A+. (the plus is for sizing, we couldn't fit into an A after all that INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS AND TOTALLY WORTH IT fair food)

Hey, one of my best friends was at this over the weekend also. I should hook the two of you up (if you can emotionally tolerate that she has two baby girls). She just lost her husband a couple months ago, so now she is getting back into the horse thing again.
