Over & Out Good Buddy

I know everyone has these days.

It has nothing to do with Joel, and is not specific to me.

Holy cow am I overwhelmed.

I had a fantastic night last night, reuniting with friends and being humbled by a horse. We will all tell you that is nothing new, and a good opportunity for laughs.

But I came home to a house with a multitude of things undone. And I got to work this morning to a desk piled with duties unfulfilled. I have task upon task upon task that require my attention, not mentioning the fact that I am not entirely certain how to even complete half of them.

There is laundry and dusting and dirty floors and unwritten thank you notes that hound my conscience. Home doesn’t feel like a sanctuary anymore.

I must get some things done.

So I am signing off for a few days. I really hope to have something fun/inspirational/depressing/interesting for you on Monday. But if I don’t, you’ll know where to find me.

Somewhere between trying-to-get-my-act-together and hokey-pete-I’m-never-going-to-get-my-act-together. Yes, there. My guess is that you’ve been there at some point too.

Sara Joy where have you been hiding your incredible talent for expressing yourself? I know distance has kept us from knowing eachother well, but your postings have given me insights into your true soul. I ache for you, laugh with you, and hope for you and Leo the happiness you two so greatly deserve. Thank you for letting us all share your life and ALL its ups and downs. All the best life can give you, Aunt Susie and Michael too
