At www.friendsofmaddie.org there is a raffle going on with a free Dell notebook on the line, be sure to stop over by July 25 for a chance to win. The freshly launched Friends of Maddie foundation was started in honor of Maddie Spohr, a beautiful little girl who spent extended time in the NICU as a preemie. She died suddenly earlier this year, and her parents have decided to honor her memory by helping out NICU parents. Helping NICU parents is near and dear to our hearts, and so are the Spohrs, who we have never met, but are companions on the difficult road after losing a child. Their family support packs are a great idea, and will certainly be a welcome help to parents struggling when their baby is ill.
So head on over, we're friends of Maddie, and we're pretty sure Joel is too.
